Author Visit with Lydia M. Sigwarth

Help us celebrate National Library Week with a visit from Lydia M. Sigwarth, author of Dear Librarian. She will read her beautiful picture book about the importance of libraries, and share a short presentation about how it was inspired by her own childhood. The event will be followed by a book signing, and books will be available for purchase. Recommended for ages 4 and up.

The activities at the Saturday and Monday sessions each month will be identical, so choose whichever works best for you.
A series of programs dedicated to fun, open-ended art experiences for young children. Each month, we’ll offer a different variety of art stations especially designed for children ages 1-4 (but open to children of all ages and their caregivers.) Dress for mess, there will be paint and other potentially messy activities!
Early Out Wednesday Crafts
Kids can stop by the library meeting room on Wednesdays to do an art or craft activity! Drop in any time from 2:30-4:00 PM. (This program is not held on days that Norwalk Schools are not in session or are not releasing early.)
Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30 am
Join us for songs, stories and rhymes! We’ll have a fun, interactive 25 minute story time in the library meeting room. Morning storytimes are followed by playtime. Children of all ages and their caregivers are welcome, this story time is great for toddlers and preschoolers.
Storytime will take a break for the month of May and the month of August.
2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 7:00 pm
An evening storytime with songs, books and rhymes for kids and families. This storytime is about 25 minutes long and is held in the library meeting room. Great for kids of all ages! Storytimes will take a break for the month of May and the month of August.
