Starting June 1st, you can participate in the Summer Reading Program for all ages! Reading logs will be available at the library, and you can earn prizes and drawing entries!
This year marks 25 years in our current library building, so we’re celebrating all summer! Be sure to pick up a June/July calendar to see all of the fun that we have planned.

Storytime
June and July, 2023: Tuesdays (indoors) and Wednesdays (in City Park)
10:30 – 11:00 am
We’ll share stories, songs and rhymes at this fun, interactive storytime. Great for five and under, children of all ages welcome. Weds. storytimes are in City Park, but will move inside if weather requires. 7/12, Dinosaur Party is instead of Storytime.
Storytimes take a break in August.

Babytime
Thursdays, 9:30 – 10:00 am
We’ll share bounces, rhymes, songs, and stories with you and baby at this short storytime, followed by playtime. Recommended for birth to about 18 months. Older kids are welcome to attend with you and baby.

Finding Nemo Movie & Celebration
Friday, July 14th, 1:00 to 3:00 pm
Finding Nemo turns 20 this year! Watch the movie (G, 100 minutes) and do related crafts and activities. The movie will begin at 1:15pm; crafts and activities will be available starting at 1pm and continue during the movie.

Picture Book Party: Puppy Friends
Thursday, July 20th, 10:30 – 11:30 am
We’re celebrating our favorite puppies and dogs from children’s books! Games and activities for young children will feature Clifford, Spot, and more puppy friends, plus a visit from our own friendly mascot, Scribbles.

Mad Mixture with Grout Museum
Tuesday, July 18th, 7:00 – 7:45 pm
See science happening right in front of you with this entertaining science demonstration for kids and families, presented by Grout Museum!
